"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.  Amen."        2 Peter 3:18

Faith Community Presbyterian Church is a fellowship of faithful believers in Jesus Christ who are devoted to the worship of God, the study of the Bible, and the sharing of His love and saving grace to all.

A few families whose lives were touched by the work of missionaries i the Philippines started gathering together in the 40's as an independent congregation in Chicago. This grew over the years and in May 1975 became a part of the nation-wide famliy of churches of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
We come from many parts of the Philippine Islands and now reside throughout the widening urban region of the Chicago area. We are a happy mix of children, young people,, adults, and elderly; and of students, workers and professionals. In time we were joined by a growing number of American friends. The Pastor, together with the Elders, administers the operations of church activities and, with the Deacons, provide spiritual care and service to the members. Opportunities to learn more of Christ abound in the church and His caring presence is experienced in many ways in the fellowship.
Among Our Ministries...
Worship - A celebratory gathering in communion with God and responding to His grace through Scripture readings, prayer, a spoken message in English, and uplifting contemporary and traditional music.
Evangelism - Bringing the Good News of The Gospel to all and the saving grace of God to the experience of everyone.
Missions - Letting the light of God Shine by sharing His love, and witnessing for the Lord Jesus Christ through organized local, national, and global outreach programs.
Church in Society - Celebrates important milestones in the life of families, community and the church. Establishes linkages between the church and other congregations and communities. It addresses common major issues that impacts God's creation, His will for peaceful unity among all people and the conservation of the earth. FCPC advocates for life, peace and protection of the environment.
Our Weekly Activities...
Sunday School - A gathering around biblically grounded lessons where everyone openly discusses the Scripture with the teacher and classmates. Classes are age-grouped and range from children to senior citizens. One class (Seniors') is conducted in Tagalog.
Sunday Lunch Fellowship - A fun time for sharing blessings and stories with one another and to meet and make new friends. It is the time when one experiences the warmth of Christians fellowship and the Filipino hospitality.
Bible Study and Prayer Cell Groups - Friday or Saturday evening meetings in the homes of members offer more in-depth study of the Scripture, heart felt prayers and a closer bonding in fellowship
Meetings - Scheduled gatherings to plan our work for the Lord.
Bus Ministry - Complements the volunteer transportation network provided by members to those who desire to come to church but have no means to do so.
